All staff, including temporary staff and volunteers are subject to stringent background checks including clearance with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) to ensure their suitability for working with children.

Our Aims:

At Bernard Gilpin Primary School we aim to ensure the safety of all children in our school community and are committed to the highest quality of safeguarding. As such, our staff recieve regular training to be in the best possible position to deal with any concerns relating to our children and their families.
